Credit Card Processing In order to use the integrated credit card processing feature of the software, you will need to purchase either the HHP Terminal or the Magtek Card Reader along with PCCharge software.
The HHP Interactive POS/Signature Capture Terminal (TT8500) This credit card terminal automatically prompts for gratuities on services you have flagged, saving your front desk personnel from having to ask the clients if they wish to add anything. It displays the charges for the client to review and then records their electronic signature and the client's receipt will be printed on a receipt printer. $995.00 DISCONTINUED. Magtek Magstripe Swipe Card Reader You will swipe your client's credit card and two receipts will be printed on a receipt printer; one for the client to sign and one for the client to keep. $95
PCCharge Software Almost all merchant processors work with PCCharge. For a list of PCCharge-certified payment processing companies visit this website: http://www.verifone.com/PDF/AuthMatrix-PCCharge-5.9.3.pdf. If your merchant is not listed, please contact them to see if they are compatible with PCCharge since many merchants use one of the certified processors listed. $495.00
If you do not currently have a merchant processor, Mack Software recommends Payment Logistics. They are excellent to work with and will provide you with very competive rates. If you choose to go with Payment Logistics they will provide you with PCCharge for approximately $295.00 (discounted because of their higher volume).
